The Warm Pet Project

The Warm Pet Project is an animal welfare program through the Humane Society of Macomb.

Each year thousands of pets are left outside in the Michigan cold, with no shelter to keep them from the harsh elements they stand little chance of survival. Our goal with this program is to build warm cat shelters and to fundraise to purchase igloos for dogs left without refuge.

We need to begin fundraising to purchase igloos and supplies now if we would like to accomplish our goal. You can also bring a donation to the shelter in person Monday - Saturday 10-4, please write "The Warm Pet Project" as the memo.

If you would like to purchase an igloo and have it delivered to us, please do so! You can find igloos at multiple stores including Tractor Supply Company, Amazon and Petsmart.
